TSG71 Beep Beep... Crossing the Line
Hey there everyone... this is my first official post as a Junior Trendsetter with There She Goes. This last week has been an insanely busy one and Sunday was the first opportunity to even get close to my craft desk. My mojo had also disappeared underneath the pile o' stuff on my desk. Today's card uses today's Color Challenge brought to you by Julie Lacey - to use Kraft, Black and Teal.
I didn't have teal so I had to go with Bermuda Bay (Close enough I tell ya...). Did you know that it's There She Goes 2nd Birthday this month so we're having a month long celebration. Check out this post for all the details. You'll notice this month that with each challenge, we'll have a twist to make your card with a birthday theme. I realized today that I have very few birthday sets but I LOVE this car image from the set, ROFL Taglines so I had to pull it out. I thought this could be a cute card for someone's 16th Bday. For the main image panel, I decided to make a "road" (it didn't turn out quite as envisioned so let's just go with it K?). I dry embossed the black cardstock with one of my embossing folders and then added some yellow ric-rac as my street lines. The car which has been watercolored with my Tombow Markers has been popped up using dimensionals. Each layer of the card has been dry embossed and then sponged with co-ordinating inks.
Make sure you participate in all of the challenges this month... You have the opportunity to win a $ 50 Gift Certificate to TSG. Now who wouldn't love to be able to get stamps for free???
By participating in this challenge, you may also find yourself in the Trendsetting Spotlight that shines on the TSG Blog every Thursday. We will be on the look out to find challenge cards that stand out and show Trendsetting qualities. TSG stamps are not required to participate in the challenges but are appreciated :)
You do not need to have a blog to be able to participate in the TSG Challenges! You can simply add the URL link from your project after it has been uploaded to your online craft gallery. If you upload your card to an online craft gallery, please use the keyword TSG71 so we can check out your beautiful work!
Have a great day!!!!
