You're hauntingly delightful...

Hi there!!! I've been away for a few days with some of my crafty friends so I haven't been posting (we'll be heading home tonight) and there will be a LOT of fun cards coming up on my blog soon as a result.  It's amazing how your mojo cann flow when you're surrounded by crafty people.

Last week, I was the 'Trendsetter of the week' at the TSG blog and this is what I created for my Stampbook Saturday post.  I recently found this picture of my husband and I of us on our first Halloween after we got married. I thought it would make the perfect stampbook page.  I'm loving it.

For my layout, I created a bunch of fishtail banners for a bit of extra dimension.  The set that I've used for the sentiments as well as for the mummy that I watercolored are from "Hauntingly Delightful".

Have a great day!!

Delight

Hey there!!! It'll be a little quiet on my blog the next couple of days so I thought I'd show you an 8x8 scrapbook page I made last week for There She Goes Stampbook Saturday. My cousin recently had a baby girl after having two boys so I decided to make a Stampbook page in honor of her new daughter. I searched through some of my cousins' pictures that she had on Facebook (she lives out of town and I haven't met her new sweetheart yet) and settled on this one. I absolutely love her expression in this one and what a cute outfit!

At the top of the page I have stamped a sentiment from the TSG set called "Beautiful Day" and then at the bottom of the page I have stamped the word "girl" using the set "A-Z, 123".  The more I look at this page, I've decided to mount the page onto a 12x12 DP.

I'm working on a whole scrapbook for my cousin but life's craziness is getting in the way so I have a feeling it'll be after Christmas before I get any more done.

Thanks for popping by!!!

Got Wine?

Happy National Scrapbooking Day, Skipping Stones Design style!! We have put together a Blog Hop with our past and current FABULOUS designers.  I'm so honoured to be invited back as part of the SSD crew for this blog hop!!
If you just happened to stumble upon my blog today, you're  smack dab in the middle of this hop, start at the Skipping Stones Design Blog for the entire hop list.   If you just arrived from Sarah Martina Parker's blog, then you are right place!!

For my scrapbook page today (can I just say I am soooooo not a  scrapbooker so this was no easy feat...), I decided to use an old photo of my hubby and I taken the summer after we got engaged at the Childress Vineyards in North Carolina. I've used the SSD set called Margarita Birthday which appropriately had the wine glass (is it half empty or half full....) and stamped it down the side of the page with Close to Cocoa ink.  I then used various sentiments from the set above and below the photo.

Hop along and see all the fabulous Scrapbook pages made with Skipping Stones Design stamps!!! I promise you will like what you see!!!!

Keep hopping along, run off to Wendy's blog!!

Leave a comment on each blog (some are giving away prizes) and when you have finished, go back to the beginning at Skipping Stones Design and leave a comment, telling us what you thought of the hop. One lucky commenter will be chosen Wednesday, May 11th to win the Skipping Stones Design may release stamp set!!!

The Perfect Love

It's my turn over at the TSG Blog for Stampbook Saturday and I must admit that I love how my page turned out.  This is definitely one to get framed.  I've had this Echo Park Be Mine DP sitting on my coffee table for  a few weeks (I had yet to put it away... sad eh?) and I realized that many of my hubby and my wedding pictures were in black and white with a pop of color with my flowers.  Voila!!!!

To see my inspiration piece for this page, make sure you check out the TSG blog today.

TSG Stampbook Saturday and a little treat...

Hey there everyone... Check out the TSG Blog today for Stampbook Saturday brought to you by ME.  It's my first post on the TSG blog and I'm super excited about it. The idea of Stampbook Saturday is to create a "stampbook page"  inspired by a card.

Do you remember this ATC??

That I used to create this card?

Well it inspired this Stampbook Page!!!  Yeah!!! I can honestly say I have never been a scrapbooker and had no intention of ever becoming one... but after this stampbook page.... I could be converted!!! The horrors I know!!!

As you can see, I used the same DP's as well as the same stamp set called Bee Happy which is most definitely my fave TSG stamp set ever.  The main image (in the circle Nestie) has been watercolored with my Tombow Markers and then the wings of the bees have been covered with Diamond Stickles.  Super easy peasy!!

As you can see, I haven't put a pic on my Stampbook page yet... I know exactly what pic of my husband and I that I want to use but I can't find it right now...

Are you still with me????  I sure hope you are!!!!  As part of There She Goes 2nd Birthday Celebration, I have the pleasure of a little blog candy for a commenter on this post.  Someone on my blog will win a Custom "Created by" TSG stamp for the back of your card looking exactly like the one below. Please note that I will be drawing a name on Monday evening about 6 PST.

Good luck and have a great day!!!!
