ISSC28 A Great Pear

Hi there!!! It's Friday, finally!! LOL!! I'm off work for the next several days so I'll have an opportunity to get a little crafty - wahoo!! I've had these sweet pears colored up since mid-July and they're finally making their way onto a card for this week's iSpy Sketch Challenge. You'll recognize the fruit (I used a different image from this set called "Fruity Friends" from Taylored Expressions just last week).

The image was stamped in Versafine Onyx Black, embossed with clear embossing powder and then watercolored with Tombow Markers. I even pulled out my SU Pastels (which haven't seen the light of day in a few years) to create the cheeks on the pears.  The DP is all from my scrap bin (MME, Pebbles and not sure about the red/pink polka dots).

Head on over to the iSpy blog to check out what the Special Agents have created.

DTGD12stampertammy - One in a melon

It's been a busy week here... I busted my rear to get prepped for a 4 week scrapbooking class that I was supposed to be teaching starting this week only to find out that the two participants had cancelled (I found this out the day of).  Oh well... I'm prepped for next month!!

Here is the card I made for stampertammy's challenge for the DTGD challenges at SCS.  If you're not a fan club member, you'll want to check it out. You still have a couple days left to participate in Dare to Get Dirty.

For my card, I've used the Taylored Expressions set called "Fruity Friends" that I borrowed from a friend.  The image was stamped in Versafine Onyx Black, embossed with clear embossing powder and then watercolored with Tombow Markers.

Have a great day!!!

Diet Starts Tomorrow...

LOL!!! Isn't she just too funny?  What I wouldn't do for a cupcake right about now.... I've been trying to lose weight lately so I've been trying to be good.  I guess it's better to have a cupcake on a card rather than in the belly right?  For my card, I've used the set "Bakery Business" from Taylored Expressions that I borrowed from my buddy Corinna when we were at her house in February. I stamped the image in Versafine Onyx Black and then embossed with clear Embossing Powder. I then watercolored the image with my Tombow Markers.  The DP I've used is from Echo Park and Bella Boulevard. I'm loving how it pops with the Basic Black matting.

Thanks for dropping by!!! You'll see me again over the weekend... I plan on getting a little crafty. Hugs!!
