Need a cupcake?

Hey there. Wow!! I didn't realize it has been a few weeks since I've posted on my blog. We're in the busiest time at work right now so my crafty time has been pretty much zilch.

This week at Stamping Bella our challenge is a Birthday Wishes challenge. For my card, I decided to use one of the fun images from the last release called Edna with a Cupcake on top. The image was colored with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol. I also paper pieced the cupcake wrapper.

Next week's challenge is using washi or ribbon on your cards!! We'll also be highlighting the next Stamp of the month.

You have until Thursday evening to get your card in to Emily at emily@stampingbella.com or by entering it on the blog.

Need a hug?

Hi there!! IT's Friday which means it is Bellarific Friday over at Stamping Bella. This week, we had another fantastic Mojobella sketch that I accidentally made a mistake on. OOPS!!!  For my card, I've used the image called Tiny Townie Heidi Needs a hug. The image has been colored with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol. I'm wishing I did her hair a different colour because it feels like too much yellow... Oh well... Next time.

Next week's challenge is a fab inspiration challenge.

No umbrella needed for this girl!! We are having some above average warm temperatures here on the Wet coast and it's fabulous!!!

Today is another |Ballarific Friday and it was an anything goes challenge. Because it's the first Friday of the month, it's also when the design team shows you our Stamp of the Month called Lolly and her Brolly.

Budding Chick

Happy Easter weekend everyone!!! As this post goes live, I'll be on my way to volunteer at a local train running race at the water station.  It's also Bellarific Friday - my fave day of the week. This week we had another fantastic Mojobella sketch.  Given that it's Easter weekend, I wanted to make sure I used  a Spring image and for my card, I've used the image called Budding Chick. It also comes with a coordinating die that I decided not to use. My image has been colored with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol.

Next week's challenge is a "Free Form" challenge and we'll be introducing the next stamp of the month.

Bunny fun

Not sure why but every time I see this fun image from Stamping Bella, it makes me smile!  This week's challenge at Stamping Bella is all about paper piecing. I knew I wanted to use one of the new images and had to use The Chuck and the Bunny Wobble. As you can see, I chose to paper piece the leaves as well as the centre of the daisy. The rest of the image was coloured with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol.

Next week's challenge is another fab sketch.

Oui?

Hey there!!! It's that time of the week again, Bellarific Friday at Stamping Bella. This week we had a great sketch to work with and check it out, I didn't change a thing with it. My package with the new release stamps arrived this week and we all know I am in love with all of the chicks so I decided to use the image called Slick Chick first. The image has been coloured with Prismacolour pencils and Gamsol.

Next week's challenge is all about Paper Piecing. Make sure you add some fun paper on your image next week.

Need a ride?

Hi rhere!!! So did your wallets take a hit with the new release at Stamping Bella this week??? I know mine sure did. There were so many images that I couldn't resist. Today's Friday so we all know what that means!! It's Bellarific Friday, one of the best days of the week. This week, we had a great Mojobella challenge designed by Julee Tilman.  I took a couple of liberties with the sketch because I realized if I added one of the fishtail flags, it would have covered up this cute snail from the Tiny Townie set called Sally Rides her Snail. Isn't she a cutie pie??? I'm not sure why I haven't inked her up before now.

Next week's challenge is a fun one!! Just add flowers to your card!!! Great for Spring right?

Just remember you have a couple of ways to enter your cards. You can go to the blog and enter with the linky or email Emily at emily@stampingbella.com before Thursday evening.

The chicks in this set make me giggle every time I see them and for me, I've needed that this week. The layout for my card is the current Retro Sketch

Next week's challenge is another sketch. Check it out.

Forever my always

Hey there!!! It's Friday and you all know what that means, It's Bellarific Friday over at Stamping Bella. Today's challenge was a fantastic sketch by Julee Tilman of Verve Stamps/Mojo Monday.  I have flipped the sketch over on its' side so that I could use this fun image called Forever my always. I really wanted to use the sentiment but I didn't leave enough room for it. Boo me!!! The image has been colored with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol.  I also did some paperpiecing of the pants, skirt and shirt. Fun!!!

Next week's challenge is a 1-2-3 Challenge!! Make sure you get your card entered for Bella \Bucks (perfect time considering the new release coming up soon).

The sneak peeks start in just a couple of days and boy are they ever fun!!!

Feeling sick

Hey there!! A new week and a new challenge at Stamping Bella!! This week at Stamping Bella, our challenge was to create a background.  I cheated a little and used designer paper and ran it through my cuttlebug with one of my folders to give the paper an embossed look. For my card, I have used the image called Sophia the Sicky which is our stamp of the month. That means it's 20% off this month!!!

Next week's challenge is a sketch

Duck, Duck, Silly Goose!! OMG, I love this image from Stamping Bella and it has worked perfectly for this week's sketch at Stamping Bella. For my card, I have flipped the sketch to its side so that I could use the image called  Silly Goose. Bridal fun

Hi there!!! Have you been loving all of the sneak peeks at Stamping Bella??? Awesome!! I can't wait for Monday when they finally get released.

This week at Stamping Bella, we had a great sketch to work with and for once, I didn't alter it.

For my card, I decided to use the Uptown Couple image called Brett and Brenda get married. The sentiment is from the set Emily and Ryan under the umbrella. I just realized looking at my card that it's all the colours of next week's colour inspiration..
