Isn't this skunk cute? Love it!! For my card, I've used a recent Card Patterns sketch (I've used it before and love it!!!).  I have stamped the image in Versafine Onyx Black, embossed with clear embossing powder and then watercolored with Tombow Markers.

Hope you like it!!

TSG160 Round and round

This week at There She Goes, our challenge is brought to us by our Trendsetter of the Week, Debby! She is challenging us to use circles on our card or project in any way you see fit. From circle cards, buttons, and brads, just use circles in any way you can!

I had SO much fun making this card!!! I've been busy all weekend creating for the June Dirty Dozen gallery, so making this card was a welcome thing.  I love the idea of the circle theme, so I went with it in all of my DP (who doesn't love a good polkadot??).  The layout for my card comes from this week's Card Patterns sketch that just so happened to contain a circle.  Score!!! I have stamped the image from the TSG set called "Cutie Pi" and then watercolored it with Tombow Markers.  The sentiment that I have used comes from the set called "Chemistry".

Hope you like it!!!
To be eligible for the giveaway, create a card or project using circles in any way you like, and then come back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the InLinkz that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (June 18th). The winner will get a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!

By participating in this challenge, you may also find yourself in the Trendsetting Spotlight that shines on the TSG Blog every Thursday. We will be on the lookout to find challenge cards that stand out and show Trendsetting qualities. TSG stamps are not required to participate in the challenges but are appreciated :)

You do not need to have a blog to be able to participate in the TSG Challenges! You can simply add the URL link from your project after it has been uploaded to your online craft gallery. If you upload your card to an online craft gallery, please use the keyword TSG160 so we can check out your beautiful work!

Cheers to a New Year!!!

Happy New Years everyone!!! With 2011 coming to a close, I'm realizing how ready I am for a new year.  I'm hoping 2012 is full of many possibilities and opportunities.  I figured what better way to ring  in a new year than with a card celebrating it!!! For my card, I've used one of the Flapper Doodles sets called Cheers to a New Year from MFT.  I've stamped the image in Versafine Onyx Black and then embossed with clear embossing powder.  I've watercolored the image with my Tombow Markers (no surprise on that one right?). I'm loving this Scarub Vintage seam binding from the Ribbon Carousel. The sketch is the most recent Card Patterns sketch (which I know I'll be using again).

Thank you for popping by my blog!!!!

Happy New Year!!! See you in 2012.

Happy Holidays

Hey there everyone!!! How's it going?  I feel like I'm beginning to get on a roll with my Christmas cards finally...  I made this CAS card (well not totally CAS but it is for me) trying to keep in mind things that would be easy to mail.  I've used this week's Card Patterns sketch (although I messed up on it a little - oops!!!).  Note to self:  copy down the sketch rather than trying to do it from memory... my mind isn't what it used to be LOL).  I've dry embossed the Kraft layer with the Snowflake Cuttlebug embossing folder (easy peasy I tell ya).  I added some 7/8" white crochet lace from the Ribbon Carousel and added an acetate snowflake that I've had for quite some time with a button and natural jute twine.  The sentiment panel uses a sentiment from the TSG set called Snowy Days.

And there you have it... another Christmas card down!!! Yeah!!! Go me!

Ready for School?

Hey there everyone... wow!!! Blogger has been a pain this week so I haven't had a chance to post my card that I made using the new School Time Landon from Lori Boyd Designs.  This month we are doing things a little differently at LBD.  Each week we will highlight one of the digis from the most recent release.  I've watercolored Landon with my Tombow Markers (imagine that right? LOL) and was able to use the School Spirit Crate Paper DP that I've had for quite some time. Landon seemed just right for it.  The layout for my card came from this week's Card Patterns sketch - love it!!

It's been a busy week this week so hopefully I'll get into my craft cave to make some more eye candy.  I have a fab idea for next week's Ribbon Carousel Challenge...

See you soon.

I think each day of sneak peeks just keep getting better and better.  So grab your cup of coffee and sit down and enjoy!!!  If you just happened upon my blog, I'm the first official stop on the blog hop today.  If there is a break in the blog hop, you'll want to check out the master list at the TSG Blog.

With Valentine’s Day around the corner, you will definitely want to invest in this stamp set illustrated by Jessica. These bold-lined images can be used as either the focal point of your creation or used as accents with other love-themed sets.

Love is a 2x6 stamp set that includes a total of 11 of stamps and will sell for $7.

Who doesn’t like to receive happy mail? The little girls in this set illustrated by our very own Iwona Palamountain sure do! Whether wishing someone a happy birthday or sending that special friend a pick-me-up, this adorable set will brighten anyone’s day!

Iwona aka Chupa has amazing style when it comes to her card creations and wow!! Now she's illustrated this darling set!! What can't she do?  I had so much fun coloring this little cutie pie with my Tombow Markers. The inspiration for this card most definitely came from the DP (from Little Shoebox) that I picked up in Victoria over the weekend. I knew they'd be a perfect combination.  Combine that with this week's Card Patterns sketch and you've got my card.  I love how everything pops on it.

Happy Mail is a 3x4 stamp set that includes a total of 7 of stamps and will sell for $7.

The next stop on the blog hop today is the super amazing Corinna!!!

Would you like a chance to win the Love and  Happy Mail mini stamp sets? Here’s what you need to do- go to each of the Trendsetter’s Blogs and leave a comment on their Love & Happy Mail Blog Hop Challenge post. After you have finished checking out the eye candy and have left some love, return to the TSG Blog and add your name to the Mr. Linky at the bottom of this Blog Hop Challenge post. A winner will be chosen randomly using a random number generator to receive their very own Love & Happy Mail stamp sets. The winner will be announced Saturday (Jan. 29) during the Release Party Chat.

It's a BLD Blog Hop!!!

Wahoo!!! It's someone's birthday!!! And in honour of our amazing leader Lori Boyd's birthday we're having a blog hop to celebrate some new releases!!! Lori's birthday...and she's giving her customers a gift of new stamps to play with.  How sweet eh??? Now if you happened upon my blog today, you'll want to go back to the BLD Blog.  Otherwise you should have arrived here from Jacquie's blog.  Isn't she just fabulous?  I'm sure she had great eye candy for you to feast on.

I have two beauties for you today.  The first card uses Puddle Jumper Emily which also comes with a present and the sentiment Happy birthday.  I've watercolored the image with my Tombow Markers and a waterbrush.  I then added Diamond Stickles to the balloons and the bows in her hair and on the dress.  The layout comes from this week's Card Patterns Sketch.

My second card uses Molly, a new release from the Bug and Roo Line which is illustrated by Hannah Boyd.  That girl has her mother's talent I tell ya!!! Artists in the family that's for sure!!! Once again the image has been watercolored with my Tombow Markers and a waterbrush.  The inspiration for my card came from the polkadots on Molly's dress and as a result, I just had to use the Cosmo Cricket DP from the Pixie-licious  pack. I've used this month's Sketch for You to Try (SFYTT) by Jen del Muro.

Guess what.... you'll want to comment on everyone's blogs!! Why??  Two lucky commenters will each win a $10 Gift Certificate to By Lori Designs!!!! Who doesn't love free goodies right?

Now... make sure you have your cup of coffee and enjoy the rest of the blog hop.  Your next stop along the way is Jennifer.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY LORI!!!! You're an amazing lady who deserves the best!!!

A little bit of sweetness

How about a little bit of sweetness to end the year?  I'm so happy to have a day off work... actually I have a 4 day weekend which I am so looking forward to.  I had a little bit of time to play today so I decided to color up the Rylee Puddle Jumper Digi by Lori Boyd.  So... it looked a whole lot better in my head than it translated onto paper.  I've watercolored the image with my Tombow Markers and then used some pearls for the polkadots on the pants (this is the part of my card I'm totally unsure of).  The sentiment comes from a new set from There She Goes called "Bucket of Love" which will be released tomorrow.  The sketch is from this Card Patterns.  I'm getting ready to head out so it's a short and sweet post for you today.

Happy New Years!!!

PS Don't forget about the Design Team Call that Lori Boyd is hosting.

Changing of The Seasons Winter Sale

It's Winter and guess what that means...  It's a Changing of the Seasons sale at There She Goes.... bundles of savings for you just in time for Christmas!!!  This sale will run from December 21st until the 28th. All 5 stamp sets are 15% off of their regular price.

Dadisms $20.40 (reg. $24)

By The Sea $20.40 (reg. $24)

Art Is the Window $15.30 (reg. $18)

Bit of Stardust $15.30 (reg. $18)

Autumn Mosaic $15.30 (reg. $18)

In honor of the sale I decided to make a card using the set Dadisms. My stepdad asked for a bunch of tools for Christmas so I thought this might be a good card to include as part of one of his gifts.  I've used this week's sketch from Card Patterns for a quick and easy card.

Have a great week!!!

Card Patterns 93 Hugs anyone?

Hug me!!!  I swear that's what this snowman is trying to tell us...  hehehe... I made this card for this week's Card Patterns Sketch and I have to admit I love how it turned out. I know, I know... You're sick of the Echo Park DP aren't you?  I've used it on so many cards but it's my all time favorite Christmas DP so you'll be seeing it again... Sorry!!!  One of the things I like about it is that it is so versatile and the colors are great for a non-traditional girl like me.  I rarely make Christmas cards that are red and green but instead use fun colors.  You'd understand if you saw my Christmas Tree (It's white and reminds me of the Charlie Brown Tree) with bright ornaments (hot pink, lime green, purple and turquiose blue).  The snowman is from the Skipping Stones Design set called Sassy Snow.  It's such a fun set and I've been able to use it a few times already. I pulled out my Tombow markers for this cutie pie of a snowman. Hope you like it!!!!

TSG82 Sitting around...

Hey there!! It was a quiet weekend on my blog but with good reason.... It's almost Sneak Peek time for November's There She Goes release!! Yeah!!!  This week at There She Goes we have a color challenge for you - Cherry Cobbler (one of my fave SU colors), Crumb Cake aka Kraft and White.  Loving this color combo!! Great for Christmas cards and it looks so nice and crisp.

Now you're probably thinking that this isn't a TSG image... BUT IT IS!!!  I'm giving you a little sneak peek of an image from one of the sets, Penguin Pals which we will be previewing on Wednesday. I'm a sneaky one aren't I?  Hehehe... Hope you like this bit of eye candy....  This card was relatively quick and easy to make...  Did you notice something??? No DP!!! Yup... I can make a card with no DP (it just doesn't happen very often).  I have a love for all things Kraft... and that also means a love for "That's Krafty Thursday" - loving the fact that Jeanie has a challenge to celebrate Kraft. The layout for my card is this week's sketch from Card Patterns.

Want to play along with us??  To be eligible for the giveaway, you are to create a card that uses the provided color combo then come back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the Mr. Linky that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (Nov. 29). The winner will get a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!

By participating in this challenge, you may also find yourself in the Trendsetting Spotlight that shines on the TSG Blog every Thursday. We will be on the look out to find challenge cards that stand out and show Trendsetting qualities. TSG stamps are not required to participate in the challenges but are appreciated :)

You do not need to have a blog to be able to participate in the TSG Challenges! You can simply add the URL link from your project after it has been uploaded to your online craft gallery. If you upload your card to an online craft gallery, please use the keyword TSG82 so we can check out your beautiful work!

See you tomorrow for the beginning of our sneak peeks!!!

A little penguin bringing presents

I've been so busy lately but this past weekend I had some extra time so I wanted to get some Christmas cards made.  Every year I always have the intention of making Christmas cards and sending them out.... and as many typical stampers, we never get around to it and we don't get them out - am I right???

So when I saw this weeks' sketch at Card Patterns, I knew I wanted to play with this UBER cute penguin from the Clear Dollar Stamps set called Winter Critters.  I've watercolored the image with my Tombow markers (surprise surprise right???).  This card actually came together quite quickly (if you don't count my coloring time) so I think I may be cranking a few more of these out - so if you're on my Christmas list.... don't be hurt if you get a duplicate k?

Yeah!!!!! Another Christmas card down!!!
