Just a reminder that the deadline for TSG's Mother of All Blog Hops is upon us!!! Check out this link at the TSG blog for more info.
This
week our challenge is brought to us by our Trendsetter of the week, Laurel! She
is challenging us to make a card or project using May flowers!! Since April is
almost over, and we all know how the saying goes, it is time for May flowers,
so be sure to use SOMETHING floral on your card, whether it be paper, stamps,
or embellishments.
My parents had to attend a funeral recently and they asked me for a sympathy card so this is what I created for their friends. I've used two TSG sets, Sweet Pea and Tulips (for the sentiment) for my card. I have watercolored the image with my Tombow Markers after stamping with Versafine Onyx Black and embossing with clear embossing powder. I have also used the current Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge that I have flipped to make it vertical.
To be eligible for the giveaway,
create a card or project using May flowers, and then come back to the TSG Blog
to add your name and a link to your project in the InLinkz that is located at
the bottom of this challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has
been announced on the following Monday (May 7). The winner will get a $5
gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!
By
participating in this challenge, you may also find yourself in the
Trendsetting Spotlight that shines on the TSG Blog every Thursday. We will be
on the lookout to find challenge cards that stand out and show Trendsetting
qualities. TSG stamps are not
required to participate in the challenges but are appreciated :)
You
do not need to have a blog to be able to participate in the TSG Challenges! You can simply add the URL
link from your project after it has been uploaded to your online craft gallery.
If you upload your card to an online craft gallery, please use the keyword TSG154 so we can check out your
beautiful work!
