TSG75 Bite Me

Wow!!! This week really flew by! I can't believe it's already Monday!! And you know what that means... It's time for a new There She Goes Challenge and this week's color challenge is by one of my new BSF's, Corinna!!! I'm so excited - I get to meet both Corinna and our Head Trendsetter, Jessica,  in less than two weeks!!! As soon as I saw the colors for this challenge, I knew I wanted to use some new images from September's release.  I've combined images from two sets,  Cattitude and Hauntingly Delightful.  These two sets really go hand in hand.  If you know me at all, I come across as relatively shy but I do have that devilish, sarcastic side, hence the sentiment "Bite Me".

I've colored my image with Watercolor pencils (Shocker...I know... where are my Tombows??).  I wanted to give them a rest and explore another coloring medium. I thought about using the Gamsol technique and it just wasn't coming together. Last week on the TSG blog, Iwona aka Chupa did a watercoloring with pencils tutorial so I decided to dust off my pencils and put them to good use. I'll admit.. I need a bit more practice with them!! Each layer of DP has been dry embossed using Cuttlebug embossing folders to add a bit more texture a la Kim Teasdale.  I altered the sketch slightly from one of Karen Giron's older sketches.

To be eligible for the giveaway, you are to create a card that uses the colors provided then go back to the TSG Blog to add your name and a link to your project in the InLinkz that is located at the bottom of this challenge post. This challenge is open until the winner has been announced on the following Monday (Oct. 11). The winner will get a $5 gift certificate to use in the TSG Web store!

By participating in this challenge, you may also find yourself in the Trendsetting Spotlight that shines on the TSG Blog every Thursday. We will be on the look out to find challenge cards that stand out and show Trendsetting qualities. TSG stamps are not required to participate in the challenges but are appreciated :)

You do not need to have a blog to be able to participate in the TSG Challenges! You can simply add the URL link from your project after it has been uploaded to your online craft gallery. If you upload your card to an online craft gallery, please use the keyword TSG75 so we can check out your beautiful work!

Hope you have a wonderful day!!!
