It's a birthday party today!!! And it's a surprise one to boot!!! Today marks the 1st birthday of the Ribbon Carousel so the crewmates decided to host a surprise birthday blog hop for Corinna. We've been a sneaky bunch the last few weeks getting it organized (thanks Kim and Jessie!!!) and it'll be a blog hop full of fun and good wishes.
If you know me at all, there's one thing I like... and it's a fruity martini every now and then (most often on girls' night out!!!). I've had this stamp from Inky Antics for years (it was one of the first stamps I owned believe it or not) so I decided I had to use it to send "Cheers" to Corinna on such a special day!!! I've stamped the image in Versafine Onyx Black, embossed with clear embossing powder and then watercolored with Tombow Markers. I've also added some Fruit Punch stickles to her lips and some Diamond Stickles to the bubbles. I then added some Antique Gold Vintage Seam Binding and some Black Jute Twine to finish off the card.
On a personal note, I want to wish Corinna and the Ribbon Carousel a very happy first birthday!! I've had the opportunity to work with Corinna on both the There She Goes Design Team as well as here at the Ribbon Carousel. I'm very lucky to be able to call Corinna a close friend who I've been able to meet in person. I love Corinna dearly (don't worry Corinna, I won't spill any secrets!! LOL! nor will I spill my drink today LOL!!!). SO I raise my glass and wish you a happy Birthday dear friend!!! Love ya!!!
