TSG Sneak Peek - World's Best

Welcome back to Day 3 of sneak peeks for this month's There She Goes release.  Aren't the sets fabulous?? Love them!!! And Dies!! WOW!!!

This versatile and fun stamp set with coordinating Dies available, is thefirst in a series! With amazingly detailed flowers, ribbons and sentiments, you’ll be celebrating ALL of the important people in your life! The line art and solid images allow for stamping only or coloring, while the tails and ribbons can easily become stems. The circle image coordinates with a 1.25" circle punch. With so many design possiblilities, this is a must have stamp set for your collection. Co illustrated by Melyssa Connolly and Jessica Knutsen.  What a fabulous collaboration!!!

With my dies stuck somewhere between WA state and BC, I decided to do something a little different and make a flower using some of the images from this new set. I've watercolored with my Tombow Markers and kept a relatively simple layout to highlight the gorgeous image.

World's Best is a 6x8 set that includes 58 images and will sell for $24.

To make your dies more versatile and useable, we have designed this 5 piece die collection a must-have addition. The Prize Ribbon/Flower dies fit all of the coordinating stamp images from World’s best. You can make flowers with with stems and leaves or celebrate your child’s first spelling test with a prize ribbon cut from the same dies. Layer the ribbon with a 1.25" punched circle for more layering possibilities. The 5 dies come as one unit making storage a breeze.

World's Best Die is a set of 5 dies with the largest die measuring at 1.75 inches in diameter and will sell for $14.50.

I kept my card relatively simple with the layout (from this month's SFYTT) and some fab Bella Boulevard DP.  Hope you like it!

Now here's the exciting part!!!!  There She Goes is introducing DIES!!! Yup, DIES!!!  How exciting!  I know what you're thinking... there aren't any dies on my card today.  You can blame the Postal system for that.... I swear getting things from the US to Canada takes way too long!!!

There She Goes Sneak Peek - Follow your Bliss and BOL Holiday Additions

Wowza this month is flying by!!! I can't believe it's already time for sneak peeks for this month's There She Goes Release.

Di has created another gorgeous addition to her wildly popular Build a Scene stamp sets. With stone and ivy walls, gorgeous little puppies and kitties, and uplifting, heart-felt sentiments, this stamp set is fabulous alone or paired with any of the other Designs by Di stamp sets.

For my card today, I decided to go a little different and use one of the sentiments from this set. It definitely shows the versatility of the TSG sets. My card was also made for this week's Ribbon Carousel Challenge which is to use fabric on a card.

Follow your Bliss is a 4x6 stamp set that includes 19 images and will sell for $15.

Acorns, leaves, pumpkins, gingerbreads are just some of the gorgeous images added to the "Buckets of Love-Holiday Additions" stamp set. Coordinate the bountiful holiday images with the different buckets from "Buckets of Love" to create gorgeous fall and winter holiday décor. Torico’s additional sentiments will be sure to finish off your creation perfectly!

Wahoo!!! So excited that I'm getting started on my Christmas Cards.  This set works perfectly with all of its fantastic images. So excited!!!

Beginning this month, TSG is giving away one stamp set for each set previewed during the Blog Hop Challenges! Peek-a-boo!! You're unique!

Please click here for my TSG Surprise party post

I'm having so much fun as Guest Designer this month over at One Crazy Stamper. They have such a great selection of stamps and goodies!!! And super fast shipping in Canada!! Being Canadian and often ordering online from US stores, I'm always waiting at least two weeks to get my goodies.  I placed my order on August 31st and my order arrived on the 6th.  This is fantastic!!! Especially if you think about a stat holiday thrown in there.

For my card today, I've used the Stamping Bella stamped called "You are Unique" that I've always thought was so cute.  As you can see, I decided to cut out each of the girls and framed them so they stand out on their own.  I really like the effect of this especially with my watercoloring that I've done with Tombow Markers.  The DP is My Mind's Eye 6x6 Pack - Lime Twist - Happy go Lucky. Each layer of DP has been embossed with the following folders: Cuttlebug Embossing Folder - Victoria
Cuttlebug Embossing Folder - Floral Fantasy, Cuttlebug Embossing Folder - Kassie Brocade.  I've always loved the look of dry embossing the DP to add a bit more texture.  I finished off the card with a bit of Baker's Twine and a button and voila - a super cute card if I do say so myself.  LOL....

RCC19 Bite Me

Click here for my TSG Surprise Party Post.

Welcome back for another fabulous challenge at the Ribbon Carousel Challenge!! This week, our Guest Stowaway Danielle Daws is giving us an easy one - "Anything Goes".

This week’s sponsor is the fabulous Wilson Design Stamps who will be giving one lucky randomly selected participant a stamp set of their choice!

LOL!!! I must admit, I love my card!! I normally don't say that but this one turned out just as I imagined.  I've used "Stella and her broomstick" from Stamping Bella that I've watercolored with my Tombow Markers. I then added some yellow Stickles to Stella's crown and Fruit Punch Stickles to her lips.  Gotta have a bit of bling after all....LOL... The sentiment comes from the TSG set called "Hauntingly Delightful". I've been wanting to use this sentiment for so long.... If you know me, I've been known to say "Bite Me" on many an occasion.   The DP is from last year's Echo Park Halloween line (sorry, I can't remember the name  and only had scraps left).  I've used some of the fab ribbon from the Ribbon Carousel, one of them being the "Black Net Ribbon" (that reminded me of spider webs) and the other being Black Crochet Ribbon.
Corinna has some exciting things starting this month at the Ribbon Carousel!!! She's starting a "Ribbon Club Kit".  Wahoo!!!!
Here's a peek at this month's Kit. Isn't it awesome??? So many ideas for Halloween projects!!!

Sept Ribbon Club Kit $9.25
3 months of Ribbon Club Kits $27.00
6 months of Ribbon Club Kits $49.95

Each kit will include 15 to 20 yards of ribbon and twine. For the 3 and 6 months of kits, shipping is only paid once.
I think I'll be signing up for the Club as well!!!

Surprise!!!! It's a party!!!

As part of our birthday celebrations this month at There She Goes,  we'll be having "Surprise parties"... Yup, parties!!! Not just one, but many!!! And today is the first surprise party on my blog!  Anytime you see the logo above, you'll know that there is a surprise party going on at that person's blog.  What does that mean for you???  Well... each Trendsetter will be giving away a TSG mini stamp set to one lucky winner from the comments left on each of our individual blogs.  The winner will have the opportunity to choose whatever mini set they want. You'll have until October 1st to comment on everyone's blogs for more opportunities to win!!!! And who doesn't love winning free stamps?

For my card to celebrate TSG's 3rd birthday, I decided to use one of my all time fave sets from TSG called "Sweet Pea" which is one of the mini sets that we carry at TSG.  The winner will be able to choose whatever mini set they want!!!! Your choice!!! Isn't that awesome?   I have so much DP that I need to use (considering I've just ordered a ton more, I really need to use my old stuff) so I decided to use one of my MME pads.  The image has been watercolored with my Tombow markers as well as my SU markers. Each layer of DP has been dry embossed using a few different Cuttlebug embossing folders. The layout for my card comes from fellow Trendsetter Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch challenge. I'm also entering this card into this week's Paper Players Challenge where the theme is "Birthdays"

Here's what's happening at There She Goes this month!!!

FIRST: Do you love a sale? How about one that last an entire month?? How about one that applies to ALL products in the store?! That's right! TSGBDAY1 Paper Dolls

Click here for my TSG Surprise Party post!!!

This month we're celebrating TSG's 3rd birthday with fun challenges on the TSG blog Monday-Friday. Prizes being given for each of those challenge days! Today begins the first challenge, so let's get to it!!

Today we're challenging you to make a Paper Doll using one of your TSG images. Christine Okken did an amazing tutorial HERE on how to make a paper doll with a stand.

I love all my TSG sets so I had to really think hard about what image I wanted to use for my paper doll and decided to go with this cutie pie from the set called "Under The Weather".  I've watercolored the image with my Tombow markers and then I cut it out with my craft knife.  I'll be making a stand for my doll using a binder clip (I have to find where I've put mine....).  You'll want to check out the TSG blog because we'll be having some fun with our paper dolls!!!

Make sure you check out this post on the TSG blog announcing all the fun we'll be having throughout this month to celebrate our 3rd birthday.

Miss you a Latte

I had a summer of chaos and craziness but I'm back in full swing creating again.  Yeah me!!!  It was nice to have a bit of a break to recharge and get things in life together again.  And to top off my excitement that my mojo has returned, I've been asked to be a guest designer at One Crazy Stamper (an online Canadian company) for the month of September. It's always fabulous being able to promote someone Canadian!!

Each month, the DT has a challenge and this month it is a sketch challenge.

I'm a sucker for square cards so this was fun!!!

I was super excited when I saw that One Crazy Stamper carries MFT stamps considering I'm an MFT junkie...I love the a la Mode line and this "Miss You a Latte" is definitely my fave from the line.  I took my inspiration from the Echo Park "For the Record" DP which I absolutely love.  The rich colours from it are a great starting off point.  I've watercolored the image with my Tombow Markers and then paper pieced her top as well as the cups (of course to match Starbucks colors).  After all, I'm not only an MFT junkie but also a Starbucks junkie. I love my Grande Peppermint Mocha Lite Frapp with whip and of course an Oat Fudge bar to go with it.  Okay... I may need a Starbucks run later. Each layer of DP has been dry embossed using various embossing folders.  I love the texture that doing this adds, just a bit more oomph to the card.

Hope you like it!! Now head on over to the One Crazy Stamper blog to see what the rest of the DT has created.
