CDS Sneak Peek - DEC Poinsettia

I've always loved poinsettias as they remind me of Christmas and when I was young my mom would have them all over the house. The red has always been my favorite but pink is my close second. December's Flower of the Month is the Poinsettia and is available September 1st from Clear Dollar Stamps. My red poinsettia card uses Gold and Gold Tinsel Embossing powder to create the shine for the petals and leaves and I've then colored it using my Tombow markers. I love how rich and vibrant the poinsettia looks along with the bold colors from my Basic Grey DP.

Isn't this pink poinsettia just so pretty? I'm thinking this year, that's what I'll be buying for my house. Each month, the DT is given a sketch challenge and this is it for this month. Isn't it great? I've managed to make the poinsettia vibrant using my Tombow markers. Have I ever told you how much I love my Tombows? I'm not sure what I'd do without them!
