A little horse

I know I've mentioned I've been having fun with the new release images from Stamping Bella and this card is no exception. I was in a crafty mood today (after watching the Grey Cup) and decided I wanted to have a little fun.  For my card, I've used the image called Little Horse and coloured it with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol. Do you ever look at your designer paper and then all of a sudden you find a combo you wouldn't have thought of? That's what happened with this card. I'm loving the more masculine colour palette. Each layer of DP has been sponged with Close to Cocoa ink.

Tomorrow's a new month and I'm still trying to embrace the fact that my 30's are quickly coming to an end... I think I need a martini. LOL!!!

Build a snowman

Hey there!!! I've had so much fun creating with the latest release from Stamping Bella.  I have so many more that haven't seen ink yet.... which means I have a lot of playing to do. LOL. This week our challenge at Stamping Bella was to make a card with "Holiday Wishes". I decided to use Valerie with Snowman" which has been coloured with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol. I also used some Diamond Stickles on the snow.

Next week's challenge is a sketch with some fantastic banners on it. I'm loving it!!!

Soldiers dancing...

Hey there!! Can you believe that you'll get to see 2 cards from me all in a couple days time? That rarely happens these days. hahahaha. As soon as I saw the Freshly Made Sketch yesterday, I knew I wanted to play a little. What's even better is that it gave me an opportunity to get another Christmas card made. Go me!!! I decided to go with a Kraft and Red theme which seems so appropriate for Christmas, don't you think? I've stamped the image called 'Christmas Soldiers" from Stamping Bella onto Kraft paper with Close to Cocoa ink. I've also distressed the edges and sponged them with Close to Cocoa ink.

Another Christmas card down. Wahoo!!!

Bundle of Joy

Welcome back for another week of Bellarific Friday. I've been having so much fun playing around will all of the new stamps from Stamping Bella. So much fun, I tell ya!!! This week, we had a fun sketch and of course, I decided to change it up a little bit and make the image oval rather than circular. I then added the word Joy from a Penny Black Die instead of the long banner. I'm all about making a sketch your own... and of course, I made it my own.  The image called "Uptown Girl Bailey has a baby" has been coloured with Prismacolor Pencils and gamsol.  I hope you like it.

Next week's challenge is called "Holiday Wishes". It can be interpreted in so many ways. Love it!!! I already have an idea for my card. You have until Thursday evening to get your card in to Emily at emily@stampingbella.com

Can't wait to see what you come up with :-)

In the Air

You can really tell when the weather is miserable outside... Even with my Ott lites, I can't get a good photo of this card. Here's to hoping we'll get some sunshine soon. As soon as I saw this image from Stamping Bella called Bentley gets blown away  I knew I had to have her.  Then... I didn't use her. LOL!!! But now is the perfect time. I coloured the image with Prismacolor pencils and gamsol. I'm wishing I had thought to stamp the sentiment before I started colouring.... I realized it as soon as I was done colouring and by that point, I was afraid that I'd stamp the sentiment crooked and well I couldn't have that. LOL.

See you soon!!

Hot Chocolate anyone?

Hello!!! Wow, the feeling of winter has definitely arrived here on the west coast. It's definitely hot chocolate time for me. Well to be more accurate, give me a salted caramel mocha and I'm a happy girl. LOL!!! This week at Stamping Bella, we have a fantastic inspiration pic that I fell in love with. I chose to go with the softer palette as seen in the photo.

For my card, I used a recent Mojo Monday sketch challenge for my layout. The image I have used is one half of the set called Buddy and Jolly. It also comes with a fabulous sentiment that I will be putting on the inside of my card.

Next week's challenge is a sketch. Check it out!!!

Just remember that you have until Thursday evening to get your card in to Emily at emily@stampingbella.com for it to be part of the challenge. It needs to be a current image to qualify for the fabulous monthly prize.
